How far is it from the airport to the center of Barcelona?
El Prat airport is located southwest of Barcelona, about 13 kilometers from its nerve center, Plaça de Catalunya.
From the same airport you can reach the center using different means of transport.
By bus it will take between 35 and 55 minutes, depending on the line and the terminal from which you take it.
The subway makes the journey in half an hour and the train usually takes a few minutes less.
The car is the fastest way to go to Barcelona , provided there is no traffic jam, making the trip to Plaça de Catalunya in about 20 minutes .
