How to get from Santiago to the airport

The airport is about 10 kilometres from the city. If you want to go from Santiago de Compostela to the airport (SCQ), you have basically two options: taxi and bus.

Taxi

This is the fastest and most comfortable option, but also the most expensive. If you want to travel quietly and without worries, this is the best option for you. You will reach your destination in about 26 minutes. Bus

The other option available to get from Santiago de Compostela to the airport is the bus, it is cheaper than the previous one but also slower. The bus that makes this route is the 6A, the route starts at Os Tilos or Hórreo train station but there is a stop in the centre of Santiago de Compostela (at Plaza de Galicia). The last stop is right at the airport departures terminal. The ticket costs 3€ (5,10€ for return ticket) and the journey takes between 40 and 50 minutes. The first departure is at 6:00 and the last at 22:30. The frequency of journeys is approximately half an hour, both on weekdays and public holidays.
